The weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting will not hold tomorrow, Wednesday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has said.
In a terse statement on Tuesday, Media Aide to the Minister, Segun Adeyemi, said the cancellation is due to inadequate time to prepare the documents for the meeting.
In a statement issued in Kano, the Minister said the two-day public holidays declared for the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations left little or no time to prepare for the weekly meeting.
President Buhari is presently in Daura, his country home in Katsina state where he spent the Eid-el Kabir Sallah holiday.
